Privacy Policy
Short version: this site has no accounts, no forms, no advertising and no analytics. It sets no cookies. It saves your settings only in your own browser, and they never reach us. Last updated October 31, 2026.
Who we are
This website is run by World Desk Daily ("we", "us"). You can reach us by email at contact@worlddeskdaily.com. We do not publish a postal address.
What we collect
Nothing from you directly
We do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details to use the site. There is no sign-up, no comment box and no contact form.
Technical data handled by our host
The site is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. (our hosting provider). To send you the pages and keep the site secure, Cloudflare handles technical data about each request, such as your IP address, the page you asked for, the time, and details of your browser and device. Cloudflare is responsible for that data under its own privacy policy. We do not currently receive these records ourselves and do not use them to identify you. If we ever turn on visitor statistics, we will update this page first.
What your browser stores
If you change a setting (for example the clock format, the cities shown, the briefing topics, the chart choices, or a personal countdown name and date), the site saves it in your browser's local storage so it is still there next time. This stays on your device and is not sent to us. The full list is on the cookies and storage page. We do not set cookies.
If you email us
We receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it to read and answer your message, and to keep a record of corrections and requests. We keep it for as long as we need it for that purpose, and delete it when you ask unless the law requires us to keep it.
Why we use data, and our legal basis (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
- Delivering and securing the site (handled by Cloudflare): our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
- Saving your settings in your browser: you ask for this by changing a setting, and it is needed to give you that feature.
- Answering your email: our legitimate interest in replying to you, or steps you asked us to take.
Who else sees data
- Cloudflare, as described above.
- Sites you choose to open. Links lead to other sites such as TradingView and news outlets. Their own privacy policies apply once you open them, and we do not control them.
- We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not run advertising on this site.
Where data goes
Cloudflare runs a global network, so technical data about your visit may be handled in the United States and other countries. Cloudflare describes the safeguards it uses in its own documents. If you email us, your message is handled through our email provider.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to: tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; move it to another service; and not be treated worse for using these rights. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you may also complain to your local data protection authority. In California and other US states with privacy laws you may ask what we collect, and you may ask us to delete it. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
To use any of these rights, email contact@worlddeskdaily.com. We may need to confirm it is really you. We will reply within the time the law requires. Because we hold very little about visitors, we will often only be able to tell you that we hold nothing about you.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not track you across sites, so these signals do not change anything we do.
Children
The site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and uses a strict content security policy so that only our own files can run in your browser. No system is perfectly secure.
Changes to this policy
If we change what the site does with data, for example by adding advertising or statistics, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect, and we will ask for consent where the law requires it.
